NatureCubsIreland preschool classes cater for children under 4 years old accompanied by a responsible adult. Classes involve outdoor activities in all weather. Children and their responsible adults are to wear appropriate clothing or sun protection for the weather. NatureCubsIreland is not responsible for any adverse condition that may affect a participant resulting from an activity. The duties of staff of NatureCubsIreland are to deliver the class programme and lead the children and their responsible adults in activities for that class. Children are not to be left alone by their responsible adult for any time during the duration of the class. The responsible adult will care for the child’s needs during the class. It is possible that children and their responsible adults may get dirty or wet from being outdoors. NatureCubsIreland takes no responsibility for clothing or people getting dirty or wet during classes.
NatureCubsIreland preschool classes are booked on a Term basis on the NatureCubsIreland.ie website. There are four terms comprising 8 weeks each. A term of classes is booked and paid for in full before that term commences. If places are available in a class after the term commences, bookings can be made at any point and will include all classes up until the end of that term. In this instance, bookings will be made manually with NatureCubsIreland. NatureCubsIreland does not supply credit to any customers. NatureCubsIreland makes every effort to provide a secure online booking and payment system. Personal data are not kept on any personal device. Refunds cannot be given if a child discontinues classes during a term. Should a class be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to hold a replacement class. This may not be in the same venue as the weekly class. If a class falls on a Bank Holiday, this class will be replaced by a make-up class on another date. Weekly classes comprise a nature walk and an outdoor nature activity. Some weeks, this may vary depending on weather or other variables. NatureCubsIreland reserves the right to change the programme structure from time to time.
Community workshops and school visits are organised by County Councils or Schools. Liaison by NatureCubsIreland occurs in advance to ensure that all attending are advised of suitable clothing and footwear and the duration and content of the class or workshop.
NatureCubsIreland will not administer 1st Aid or medication to anyone attending workshops or classes. Anyone attending with a medical condition must bring his own medication and, if a child, have a responsible adult in attendance fully aware of that medical condition and how to administer any required intervention or medication.
NatureCubsIreland may take photos or video of class activities for promotional material and for NatureCubsIreland social media only. If a responsible person does not want himself or the child to be included in a photograph or video, he must make this known at the time to NatureCubsIreland staff.
